1. Do you sell any of your dolls?

Unfortunately I don't. I don't really have the time to, because of school and family. I'm also the only one making the dolls so I don't think I could ever keep up if there was ever a huge demand for them.

2. Can you give me a doll?

I might have giveaways in the future or contests where I will have certain dolls as prizes.

3. Who can follow the tutorials?

My tutorials are intended to beginners.

4. How long does it take to make a Sackboy Dolls?

It takes about 5-6 hours to make a regular Sackboy. It will take longer to make a more complicated one. It really depends on what you are making.

5. Are you going to make more Totoro tutorials?

I'm not sure if I'm going to make more. I didn't design them, and I changed the pattern quite a bit for the blue Totoro. If you'd like to visit the site where I got the pattern click here . You can also check out the links in the "Links" page for more awesome craft pages. As for the grey Totoro, I didn't write the pattern down for the one and I really don't remember what I did. I'll try to see if I can make that doll again.

6. Did you forget Sackboy's mouth?

This is my interpretation of Sackboy. I tried to put a mouth on it with my first Sackboy creation. However, I think that he looks much cuter without the mouth.

7. Where do I get my materials?

8. How did you make the "open-mouthed" Sackboy in your 300 Sackboy tutorial?

I've been trying really hard to make a tutorial for how to make the mouth. I'll try to explain it in text just in case I don't get to put that video up. Basically, create a simple circle with black yarn. Try to figure out how large you want the mouth to be and where you want it to be. Once you've decided, on the row where you want to create the mouth, create a long chain. The number of chains you create depends on how wide your want the mouth to be. It's your choice really. Then after you've made the chain, skip as many stitches as you have chains. So, for example, if you created 20 chains, then skip 20 stitches. Create a slip stitch with the next stitch (for this example, it would be the 21st stitch). Then after that, you can create the bottom part of the Sackboy's head like normal. Then fold the black circle you created earlier and sew it onto the doll.

9. How much would it cost to start a doll project?

It would cost about $20 or so. It would really depend on what you are making. If you want to buy materials such as crochet hooks, scissors and darning needles, I would recommend that you buy the more expensive ones. Getting higher quality or even moderate quality materials will really help you more in the long run. I had these flimsy darning needles that broke and I had to buy new ones. It would really be a pain to have to stop midway in your project because one of your tools were broken. Invest in a crochet hook kit instead of just buying one crochet hook. You never know when you have to switch sizes in your project. As for yarn, it would, again, depend on what you are making. If you are making dolls, then you can just buy the cheapest doll you can find. It doesn't really matter unless you are going for different textures.

13. Where did you learn how to crochet dolls?

I learned how to crochet from my mom. My family is really into crafting and she taught my sister and I how to knit and crochet when we were in elementary school. The first projects we had were scraves and hats.

14. What inspired me to make Sackboys?

I first saw Sackboy on a video game advertisement of Little Big Planet. He's just such an adorable character that I decided to make him.
